X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Have you ever played a game you thought might be one of the worst this generation, then come to find you actually enjoy it? That's exactly what happened when I played Wolverine, despite the movie being so full of fail. I picked it up from Gamefly and five minutes later I held a mans head into some helicopter blades; from there I knew the game was going to be awesome.

Come to Papa!

I certainly didn't expect the game to be so gory, but it made the game so less boring, and kept it interesting as well. It reminded me of Afro Samaria when I was cutting people in half as well as their limbs every now and then. Most of the achievements were pretty fun to get, they were original in the most part as well.

Lightweight!

I talked with some friends who told me that movie games usually get around 6-8 months to be developed, whereas Wolverine was in production for like two years. The reason being, Raven was working on a new Wolverine game to begin with, when they were approached by the movie and just turned the work-in-progress into the X-Men Origins: Wolverine you see today. Which would explain why it was so well made, and actually fun to play. You see a lot of things that weren't in the movie too, which is a result of this as well.

I said MOVE!

All-in-all, I say this game is definitely worth playing at least once, and twice if you're an achievement whore. As I had to for the hard difficulty achievement. It wasn't tough at all, just kinda boring the second time around.
